SATURDAY OCTOBER 3 FROM 1PM
Nest Byron Bay
19 Newells road, Main Arm NSW
We are getting married, and we can’t wait to share a weekend of love, laughs, good food and a proper dance floor with our favourite people.
We’ll be tying the knot at Nest Byron Bay, nestled in the peaceful hinterland between Byron Bay and the Gold Coast. It’s a beautiful spot with wide open spaces, fresh country air — the perfect little retreat to switch off from the noise of everyday life and reconnect with nature (and each other).
Wedding Day Itinerary (What to Expect)
We’ve put together a rough run sheet for the day so everyone knows what’s happening and when. The vibe is relaxed — arrive, grab a drink, eat well, and settle in for a big celebration.
12:00pm – Shuttle departs (for shuttle guests)
If you RSVP’d for the shuttle bus, please be at Lennox Head Bowling club in time for a 12:00pm sharp departure.
1:00pm – Guest arrivals (for anyone driving)
If you’re driving to the venue, please aim to arrive at 1:00pm.

Kick things off with music, beer and wine, plus Baja Mexican-style share platters from The Tasty Señoritas while everyone arrives and settles in.
2:30pm – Make your way to the ceremony space
We’ll start moving across to the ceremony area, begin with an Acknowledgement of Country, then get everyone seated.
3:00pm – Ceremony
3:30pm – Back to reception + tacos on
After the ceremony we’ll head back to the reception area where The Tasty Señoritas will be serving all-you-can-eat tacos.
3:30pm – 5:00pm – Eat, drink & mingle
Time to fill up, catch up with friends and family, and soak up the afternoon before speeches.
5:00pm – 6:00pm – Speeches
6:00pm – 11:00pm – DJs take over
11:00pm – Shuttle returns to Lennox Head Bowlo
For anyone using the shuttle service, it will depart the venue at 11:00pm and return to Lennox Head Bowling Club.
Disclaimer: We’ve never planned a wedding before, so these times are a guide and may shift slightly on the day
— It'll Work itself out.
Everything that is served is naturally gluten-free & nut free, and they can easily adapt for your dietry needs.
Nest is centrally located between both Ballina and Gold Coast Airports, Approx. 45minutes in either direction.
For those travelling and booking accomodation, we recommend booking flights and accomodation as soon as possible as the date is over a long weekend and school holidays.
Cannot stress enough about booking this sooner, rather then later.
Recommendations: Booking in or near Lennox Head would be logistically easier as the shuttle bus will be going from there, otherwise nearest neighbouring towns are Mullumbimby, Brunswick heads & Byron Bay.
Nest Byron Bay (19 Newells Road) is roughly 10 mins to Mullumbimby, 20 mins to Brunswick Heads, and 30 mins to Byron Bay — plenty of great spots for a day trip (or two).
Treat yourself (spas & bathhouses):
The Banya Bathhouse (Mullumbimby) is a must — mineral pools plus sauna/steam and a cold plunge, with massages available too.
Kiva Spa is another beautiful option if you’re keen on a proper reset (bookings recommended).
Beaches:
If you want a classic beach day, Byron Bay has plenty of iconic spots to choose from.
Brunswick Heads is also perfect for an easy swim + coastal stroll, with great water spots around the river and beaches.
In Lennox Head & Ballina we've got - Boulders Beach, Seven Mile Beach, The Boat Channel, Flat Rock and many more. The 8km walk from Lennox Point to North Wall Ballina has all time scenic views you'd otherwise miss from the road.
Waterfalls:
Killen Falls
Protestors Falls
Unicorn Falls (will need a pin dropped for this one)
Minion Falls
Shops, food & coffee:
Mullumbimby, Brunswick Heads and Byron are all great for a wander, with loads of cafes, bakeries and places to eat (Brunswick alone has a big range of dining options).
Crystal Castle:
The Crystal Castle & Shambhala Gardens is an amazing hinterland outing with a great cafe — open daily (check their site for session info).
